Need to figure out the Ballard match. Can an original Ballard that been rebarreled qualify?
Doc stumbled into a 38-55 for real cheap.

Yes theres always been a "ballard" class. But I never really paid any attention to the guidelines, until now.

Gary if you look down towards the bottom of the flier, under "yet more information" you'll see it listed with the trapdoors etc.

Don, yes a ballard that has been rebarreled will qualify.

On the trapdoors they have to be original to qualify.

Thanks Dave, this one was reportedly rebuilt by Mr. Garbe's outfit, so it should be good to go then. Sure is a pretty rifle, nicely cased action, and deep blue on the barrel.

Dave? Has there been any more consideration to adding a "barrel" sight division, for those of us that would like to shoot the match with nothing more than the standard ladder sight? I'm pretty sure we could garner more than enough to cover the cost of the award.

Don, this is the first I heard of it, but I think it might be a good idea. Will talk to Buz about it. Dave

I bounced it off of Buz last year, but have been negligent in not being a pest about it I suppose.Smile
