.45 Brass
Have any of you looked for .45 rifle brass lately? .45-70 to .45/2-7/8.
I did a search a couple days ago and there is none to be had for the .45-70 and the rest. Found some .45-70 on Amazon. I did find the last 100 .45-2.6 cases for the .44-100 at Graf so I picked them up and I now have enough to shoot the Backer and the Q with out having to reload.
Got them annealed and sized down to .44 and ran through the tumbler to remove the sizing lube.
Last month I ordered a new tumbler because my Tumblers tumbler is just plain wore out. The bearings and barrel is shot and the rubber rollers are not holding on the shafts so I got the new Extreme Tumblers Rebel 17. This is a well build machine. A little pricy but well build. It looks like the tumblers -B same size just better build.
Now I just need some good weather so I can get to the 200 yard range Tongue

Saw this coming last summer, so I picked up a couple hunderd 45-70 and have them on the shelf. Sure hope it starts getting better, didn't think it would last this long. Are you going to make it to the mt 1000 this year? Sure looks like we'll have plenty of wind.

RE: .45 Brass
You bet Dave Smile
I have 700 .44-100 cases now and If I play around with the other rifle before the three matches I will have enough for the MT 1000 also or I can pull out the old reliable .50 Tongue
Looking forward for this season.
