wish me luck ..
I'm off to the eye-Dr. at 6AM, for some laser work on my shootin' eye. Had an implant put in back in Nov., but it developed a haze and vision went downhill. Takes 10 sec. for the whole deal. Wish I was left-eye'd, its 20/20.

Thanks for the concerns.

The Dr. said it went well. First looks make me think the right eye is better than before, but the left is about the same. My wall eye-chart looks to be 20/25 , but Dr. said to give it a few days to "clear out". Mostly scar-tissue behind the new lenses appears to be the culperts. This type of laser work creates a 3MM size'd hole in the center of the scar-tissue area.

If it ever stops rainin', I'll get to the 600 yard range to have a "see".

Kurt I don't know if you remember my friend Russel, he and his wife sat with us all thru the Sagebrush match a couple years back.
Anyway he just had the cataract surgery done on one eye, and he says he wishes he hadn't of waited so long. He did say the worst part was the lifting restriction they put on you for a few days, and when he has the other eye done it'll be at a time of the year when he's not quite so busy in the fields and with the cattle.

Kurt, thanks for askin'. A few days after the lazer-work things are looking up. I have an exam on the 29th for shooting glasses, but vision is slightly improved each day. Both eyes are 20/20 on the wall-chart now. Noit bad for 76 year old vision. I will still need "readin' glasses" though.

Don,

A friend just had his done and they put new lenses in for him and his vision is better then 20/20 but he had a weight restriction like Jim did and he was told not to shoot for two months.
Man that will give me withdrawals if I cant shot for that long.
