RE: Where are folks from?
Long story short, working for Uncle Sam after 40+ years. 10 yrs USAF, did a stint for Lockheed as an ex-pat in Saudi back in the early '80s. Living the dream in central Oklahoma - if ya don't count the tornadoes, freezing rain and ice storms, heat and wild fires. Thinking on retirement - if the elections go my way.

Born in Williston, ND. Raised in West of Homestead MT. Lived in Idaho and Wisconsin. Worked in almost all of the lower 48 doing fiber optic and cellular tower work. Had two little ones and moved back to the family farm and am now pounding nails and pulling slivers. Havent gotten to the black powder yet but am working up to it. Been to several shoots this year. Big Hill, Hovets safari shoot, and Medicine Rocks last weekend. Gonna be at Big Hill this weekend!

Welcome to our place. My family came into the Johnson City area in the 1830s. Think there are some still there.

Both fine fellows! .... and neither a stranger around charcoal!

It's a big E-W long state , Don. Mountains in the east. Delta in the west.

Quite possibly the prettiest place (mountains)in the country around the end of Oct.

But we're suffering from the same affliction that so many of you are: too damn many people.

I spend a lot of time out west.....and envy your "elbow room."

Love Laramie the times I've been there.
