I could fire up the J-3 but every time I point it west the wind is blowing so hard and the fence posts are moving in the wrong direction...
Kurt
I didn't know you had a J-3. You'll have to try out my 11 next time you're out.
That J-3 is a page out of history Bryan. I took lessons and soloed in it when I was 16.
But I sure would like to see your 11.

Kurt
Well, get up early some morning of the Q and go take it for a little flight over the place
Hope its raining so hard we have to cancel, but looks like this Saturday will be shootable.

It looks like you had some conditions Brian!
Yes, best ones we've had for learning the wind. I was way out of practice and behind in my shooting adjustments. But did learn a few things spotting for Buz.

A lot of changes at the line, direction and speed. Very little change at the Target direction wise, but sudden 180 wind shifts.

Lot of misses so I could see what the wind was doing at the target compared to what it was doing at the line. And compare that to what it was doing to Buz's bullets
The quiggley range is a challange on a good day and then move the fireing line back 400 yards makes it real tough as you can see by the scores. One thing we all learned is that mother nature still rules dry creek and now we have a airport at quiggleyville.Wink
