Oh man I would love that.
Family is far away today ate a very quiet supper at Burger King, to tired too cook. had a wonderful dinner Saturday night with kids and Grandkids at outback in Casper.

Yep, the frosting generally runs close to 1/2" or so. Ya gotta pace yourself so ya don't get hurt.
Of course, the cake is right after the main course of all-you-can-eat/ fall-off-the-bone baked pork ribs and sauerkraut, mash potatoes w/ heavy cream and all the rest of the trimmin's. Maybe beer can chicken instead of the ribs; maybe hot sourdough biscuits to boot.
Old Army mess sergeants do that sort of thing, ya know.
