Safari
Hi Folks:

Thinking about doing an African hunt, one of those "always wanted to things", so i'm starting my research -----------

This is truly in the infant stage and i haven't decided anything yet , plains game, Kudu, Buffalo everything is open to discussion.

So who's been, where, why------would you go again ?-------what didn't you enjoy, what was over the top fun-------What should you have done on a first trip that maybe you didn't ?

Its easy to watch tv nimrods-------go to shows and look at picture albums and such but that just doesn't get the picture that "boots on the ground" gives you

Thanks for any and all information

Dave

RE: Safari
I have a friend that has done multiple safari's and offers this adivice; find a reputable pro-hunter or outfitter and insist on references from recent clients. Contact them and then make your choice. The Dallas Safari Club is also a great resource for information. Hope that helps and good luck...

RE: Safari
Thanks jtex54--------------------i make the safai club shows occasionally and certainly we will "do diligence" on the outfitter as we progress.

Hoping to get some real experiences from those here that have had the safari adventure

Kicking things around here may provide some information and leads for other folks interested

Have a Great day
