Iron, I think it was Denali that had him build a 400 gr bullet for the 44, that came out awfully close to the profile of the original sharps/Remington bullets, you might want to see about having him enlarge the diameter on that one.
Mike's tapered 44 bullet is awful close to original designs and should serve as a dual purpose bullet.
I haven't used my 43 470 t bullet for hunting but the thing shoots amazing good out to 1000 yds, it's quite similar to the original postel nose, at least as close as Tom's machines can cut it. Also had him cut that same bullet in a 442 diameter for the 45's but haven't really worked with it enough to say good or bad.
That's the neat thing about those accurate bullets he'll work with you on the diameter with no fuss.
