Day began nice enough, mid 30s, time to smelt.

Decided I would load some 45 ACP rounds for my Blackhawk since the machine was set up for that round. I was loading the H&G #34 bullet the last round so I only needed to adjust the seating depth. After about 20 rounds the press began to bind. I hate that & figured something simple but not so.

I disassembled the press fairly sure of the problem. Off came the linkage & out came the ram.

The problem, galling of the link arm where it attaches to the frame. I have a Dillon 450 which had the same problem.

With the problem solved it was back to loading.
