RE: gutted forums
On one of the other forums the general consensus is to defend Dan. That is all well and good but for that loyalty I think he owed them an explanation why he was quitting. Loyalty swings both ways. Don't just get in a snitt and pack up your stuff and quit. Maybe might write a book doesn't cut it.

Brownie
Post Script This is a great site
I do not live in the middle of nowhere, but I can see the edge of it from here.
Most of what I tell you is true and the rest, well the rest is the West.

As you both are well aware, I don't have to tell you my personal experience with Dan, as you both commented on the thread about Savannah's rifle.
Dan done that completely unsolicited, wasn't asked, just did, I guess, because he wanted to.
Nor do I personally feel the need to defend anyone. However I am disappointed about the post deletion, because I would from time refer back to it, now that information Dan shared is gone, which somewhat leaves me with a feeling of swinging at the end of a rope. I also feel at the same time that I don't exactly have that right, as the information Dan shared with me & the time spent was out of kindness NOT obligation. I got home one afternoon & the email told me I had a Private message, it was from Dan, letting me know everything he needed to be included when I done the chamber cast, so he could work on a bullet.
The info about weight, seating depth, & bullet speed were spot on.
P.S. It shoots pretty straight, even as a untested round at the 1200 yd buff. Just ask ole hipshot Had no clue about a sight setting to start with. Took 4 rds to find where it was hitting, then had 3 hits the last 8 shots. Not bad for a newly designed bullet. Who shoots 1200 yds anyway?
Kurt,
I agree, there is more than one way to do this, hell I shoot the powder of the devil, & you guys STILL talk nicley to me
