Don, on other Forum you posted pictures of Doc Lay bullet and Wasserburg mile,LR. With notes on nose tips, small and large.Doc Lay bullet small nose tip. .02500, Wasserburg LR. adaptation showing big nose tip. .02500. post also shows45/90 money bullet with .02250 nose.
I asume you are referring to the .02250,as small nose tip design.

John , wasn't me that did that. I'm only briefly familiar with the general profile of Kenny's mile bullet, and probably couldn't identify a Doc Lay money bullet from one of the other dozen or so money's..
My taste in bullets runs more to the traditional.

But maybe whoever did do that will be along shortly to further explain?

Don, after a nice conversation with Paul Jones, the only deminsions on drawing of Doc Lay,s money bullet that are somewhat accurate are of base and grease grooves,nose is somewhat larger,based on a PP Westly-Richards bullet. Paul,also said find someone that is casting his money bullet buy some and give them a try if they shoot good, a1.5" group @200yds. 15 round groups is the best way to tell.

Check with John Olson at BigSky components in Miles City. He's casting a "money" bullet, of who's variation I don't know, but he does a good job 406-853-0196
Also take a look at montana bulletworks.com. they may have a money bullet.
I know people either love em or hate em, but other than that I'm not to well versed.

It is the Doc Lay Money Bullet. I had the mould made. It's the bullet I won the 1000 yrd with and John is the guy that makes them for me. He has two "money bullets", the one that drops out at 535 gr is the "TRUE" MONEY BULLET profile.
