I was thinking maybe Clifford would be talking about tentative dates he would try for next year.
Hopefully the dates he does get next year work out as I would like to come back and try that range again.

Cliff has turned the match director over to Matt Steckle (bpcrshooter) and he will be requesting dates for next year and as I understand the club makes those decisions in January I think. I believe he's going to try and get the spring match just a little later than the past few years trying to get more favorable weather. Since they have added the .22 match on Friday the club seems to be taking more notice of us since we're bringing in more revenue to them.
We had a good weekend of shooting. These days I am usually chasing my son Daniel on the score sheet, for the first time in a while he got to chase the old man!!

Well goody, if they schedule it the week after Alliance that might just work out super jiffy. As long as we don't get rained out like the last time I went. LOL

It is noted that the spring Lodi BPTR/22-200 provided 120 rounds of shots for record.
The August 6x1000, plus 22-200 provided 135 rounds of shooting for record.

The fall matches Sept 22-24, 22-300yds, plus Midrange 500/600yds will provide 120 rounds for record
A nice bit more of Long weekend shooting for the trips

Guys,

Now this is NOT......I repeat NOT set in stone but, May 3-5th. Aug16-18th. Sept 13-15th May, Long range 8-9&1000, Aug, 15 @1000 and Sept Mid range. All matches will have a 22lr match prior. I still need to confirm with people if this is ok because I still need help running the matches and they need to be present. At some point I may make the Sept match a gong or steel match if attendance stays low for that match. Getting match dates in May is a challenge due to higher attending matches that have been in place for quite some time. If we can get more attendance, we may be able to get further into May to get more favorable weather!!

Thanks Matt. Hopefully things are much better in my schedule next year and fuel prices alleviate. I definitely want to get back to shoot the Long Range there again.
Came within a hairs breadth of being able to make the midrange the end of this week, but it just didn't quite work out.
