Merry Christmas everyone! And stay warm! Especially you, Don. It looks a bit windy out your way!
Thirteen years ago I got the letter from Shiloh that my rifle was ready to ship. The weather was nice and I’d never been to Montana so I decided to drive out and pick it up. There wasn’t a flake of snow the whole way there and back. It was the second week of December. Quite a difference this year!

We got a white Christmas here and it's still coming down with a good good North Eat blow. But we are still above zero at 7º but dropping below in a couple hrs so it's not ad cold as it is in the North West. I haven't seen -45 for many years.

Its approaching midday on Christmas eve down here and we are hovering around 77 f with a little light rain. Christmas day should be mid 80's with sunshine. Unusually mild...but gratefully accepted nontheless ! Its pretty clear some areas of the U.S. are copping a flogging with winds and extremely low temperatures so we pray you get through it unscathed. A white Christmas is on the bucket list but -40 f may be pushing the envelope a little for me. All the best to you all and trust you have a Merry, safe and family frequented Christmas and New Year.

I don't know which is worse heat or cold  The wind was blowing so hard today that the fine dry fine snow that fell yesterday was blowing so hard it looked like fog. Couldn't see my 100 yard target through the kitchen window. LOL
It did make 0 today.
