MVA 3000 Scope
I just got an MVA 3000 scope 17" spacing on the blocks, on my C Sharps 45-90. I am working on getting sight settings now. Any useful information available here to help me out?

There is a learning curve here and I can some times be a bit slow on the up take if you know what I mean..

Thanks,

Steve

Check the book but I think it takes 5 marks to move 1 minute on the 17 in spacing.
Get the parallax set, then adjust the focus. Check the focus for every yardage shot. Helps to carry a small screw driver in your line box.
Don't forget to slide the scope back to the stop before firing the next shot.
Check the mount screws occasional to make sure they don't work a little loose during long course of fire.
Don't get lazy and shade the cross hairs in minor wind shifts, or you'll get lost and have a bugger of a time adjusting for big wind shifts.

RE: MVA 3000 Scope
Well I got a few rounds down the barrel. I think I would be better served with 15.5" spacing between the blocks or a shorter butt stock. It felt like I have to crawl up the stock to get into the proper shooting position as far as the eye relief goes. I have settings now for 200, 300 & 400 yards. Next time I will work back a little farther.
