RE: Where are folks from?
Born in Oklahoma, raised and living in western North Carolina. Retired after 36 years in the fire service, I'm trying to shoot a little BPCR. I've played the schuetzen game for about 25 years now. Prefer the older single shots but enjoy most anything made of blued steel and walnut.

RE: Where are folks from?
Read the whole thread, interesting bunch of men here. I've shot very little BP other than front loading round ball rifles.

Born in West Virginia. Raised at Montcoal, a coal camp, lived in a company house & ate out of a company store. Jumped from rock to rock across Big Coal River to school. Finished Marsh Fork High in '68, four days later got off the bus in Ft. Knox, Ky. Finished the Army '71. Drove trucks, mostly hauling fuel & gasoline till '73.

Worked underground with my Dad for Armco Steel at Montcoal till '77 & moved to Missoula, Mt. Drove truck in 28 states till the wife could stand it no longer & moved back to WV.

Back into a gasoline tanker for 20 years. Then on to pipe fitting, welding, clutches, differentials, tires, etc on the same trucks. Married Barbara in 2000, left the oil business in 2001.

We opened Dry Creek Bullet Works in 2001 & began the Ministery 2003. Opened Dry Creek Firewood 2007. These days I work for a friend part time who owns excavators, dozers & trucks. I run a Stihl saw cutting trees. The job gives me all the logs I want thus the firewood business. I'll be 62 shortly.

The Lord has deeply blessed this ole boy. We preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ over much of southern WV. I'm no stranger to long range shooting but finished shooting IBS 1000 yard bench last year & trying to break into the Rimfire game. Fine place here Don I'm going to learn a bunch.

Was born in Germany before the bombs fell. Moved to America as a DP and relocated in Illinois shortly after the Russians started to string barbed wire and retired as a plumber in 2000 and been running all over this country since retirement and enjoying it.
