It's elk season
But somebody tipped off the elk. 2 beautiful weather days but not a hair in sight.

Kurt, that is about 1/2 mile up the canyon behind my house. The last 3 days have been blue bird, high 60s to mid 70s. Changing on Thursday to a slippery slope down. There's been years where that would have had a foot of snow and far more likely to have elk. They're staying in the high cold timber.
