RE: Tom Ballard
If Tom Ballard is the Tom of Accurate Moulds, he most certainly is making moulds. Check accuratemoulds.com. He answers email within 2 business days.

Don, I really don't think Accurate Molds' owner is Tom Ballard. I've done business with Tom at Accurate Molds and recommend his work very highly although I don't know what his last name is. However, I will ask him. Tom Ballard should be about 85 by now and that is why I asked if he is still active. Like I said, I received no reply to my letter. Thanks for your reply though and steering a fellow shooter to Accurate Molds is always a good tip.

mike, last I heard ,he sold off his stuff and was settling in for a fight with cancer, thats been 4-5 years ago and , my sourse was a feller in Helena , Mt. I have no way to verify his statement so take it for what it is worth . The last mould I got from him was almost 10 years ago.

Dean, Thank you very much for your note although that isn't the best news. I'm lucky that I have one of his moulds and that's why I wanted another.

Mike.

I still have Tom's phone number. If you want to give them a call.
I really dont want to post it in the open so they dont get flooded with calls if he isn't feeling good.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Kurt, I sure thank you for the offer but from what we've heard I think I'll pass. My letter to him might still be replied to and that will be more than enough. If he doesn't want to respond, we'll let it be. Besides, I went to Accurate Molds and got the mold I wanted. No, it isn't as legendary as a Ballard mold but it will sure do the job. I was mostly curious about Tom Ballard and if he was still working in his shop. Thanks again.
