anyone out there have a hard time loading the 1866 ? I was thinking about relieving the loading gate but not sure.
the gun is super accurate, loading 5.6 Accurate 5, ez to load the 38 specials, nice round. Ken a newbie

From Henry, model # HO11. 44-40WCF, 13 rounds, 24.5in barrel, 1-36 twist, MSR $2829.00.

The HO11C would be the 45 colt version.....

Could not find a "improved version" that was newly made, maybe a call/email to winchester to see if they even made them in the past 40yrs? or if they plan to...
