RE: CPA word to the wise.
Jim.
I had a bunch of rollers in my past and they shot well. They where all the Military and a couple .40 sporters. The only problem I had was the drop in the stock. I have a good friend I call my little brother that shoots the rollers and they are top quality wood and accuracy but I give him a hard time LOL.
I must say that I prefer the Sharps rifles. All of my Shiloh's shoot well and feel good shouldered and the only problem I have had with them is broken firing pins, lever springs and a broken trigger spring. I shoot a lot so this can be expected.
My 3 CPA rifles I don't find them being finicky at all. I do have one that had fore end screws that worked loose but new screws fixed this problem. I had accuracy problems with one rifle but it had a barrel I supplied that was junk and that was changed and trashed.
My .45-90 CPA with the Douglas barrel and my chamber is the closest what I can call a MOA shooter I have.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
