Crossno construction
I am curious how these are built. Is the cartridge case epoxied on the barrel?

I would like to modify it to fit a 50-70.

RE: Crossno construction
If you mean the .22 conversion BBL. No-it's a snug slip fit into your rifle's BBl.
And only for .45 cal BBLs.

I meant the insert barrel. Is the case on the breech end epoxied onto the barrel.

My CRS is blooming, and I don't recall.
It's been years since I've seen one.
Maybe on Monday, you can call the maker and ask.

Thanks Lumpy

Will give them a call. Not sure if they'll let out any secrets though.

Still not sure what you meant but the chamber of the insert is offset to the ctr of the bore. It was my understanding that Dave C passed on in June, his shop might still be in operation though .An inquiry will tell you. bobw

RE: Crossno construction
As I figured....."ancient chinese secret"

They do however make custom chambered inserts, so a 50-70 liner is available.
Next problem is, shipping to Canada.

Will keep the masses informed.
