Congratulations Mr. Kidwell
If I read the results from Raton correctly you set a new national record for scope in the midrange prone match?
Very well done sir.

Very well done sir.

I've asked the NRA to recount Kidwell's score.
He was observed pouring drinks and carousing with the NRA officials the previous evening.
I know for sure he was able to change the finishing order in the prone match in order to improve his standings.
Kidwell is capable of anything that will make him look good to the unsuspecting shooting fraternity. ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

Don,
You know Kidwell very well I see.
We did have a great time and it would have been better if you had been able to attend.
Next year bring those cows with you.
There is plenty of room for them to graze and the grass is tall!

Steve I'm just sick about not being able to go. Had the ammo loaded, I hadn't been able to shoot all summer, but caught a break in the moisture and was able to confirm my loads for velocity and accuracy to 1000. Camper is on the pickup, all I needed was to jump in and go.... Then the wind quit...
Next year we are making Raton our fall vacation, so arrangements will be made well ahead of time for chores and cowsitters (provided it rains next spring and we're still in the cow bidness) Carol can spot for me, and I'm hoping to have her talked into shooting the midrange match and maybe the creedmoor by then.
Those September dates next year will really be great for us getting away to go shoot for a week.

Don,

Thanks, Don. It actually matches Doug Gazaway's record. I can't think of a better marksman to share a record with...............

Don't pay attention to Rhoades. He has had a bad attitude since the Trinidad Gun School turned down his application for admittance. They need talented people to attend, ergo poor ole Steve didn't make it.Big Grin I do hear they had approached him for an operation to make him look better...............

Hope to meet you next year..........................................Jim
