Lodi May 2016 is in the books
Another well run match at Lodi is over. We had a great time before the match having a potluck the Gals put together at the camp. We had Buffalo steaks and everything else Tongue
The weather was great but some wild conditions and heavy mirages. Maybe my new scope picks it up to much Smile but as usual at Lodi the flags didn't agree with the mirage and it put a lot of miss markers left and right on the target frames looking up and down the targets while in the pit and the neighbors targets. Smile
They have cut down a lot of trees to expand the range and pits for more targets. They have started a lot of work since last year.
It was a great match run well and no grumbling was heard from anyone.

TNX. Don.
It should have been better. I didn't do the rifle justice with my fat fingering. Sunday on the 800 I did not set the trigger for a heavier pull.
The conditions Sunday made me change the way I shot at the last relay at 800. I wore out the windage knob and I shot18 rounds and had 18 minutes left on the timer when I finished. The barrel was so hot I couldn't lay my hand on it I shot so fast to hold conditions as much as I could.
It was a fun match. I seen shots through my scope shot by the neighbors and my shooter that went from a 9 to halve way between the targets before the shot was fired. I could not say don't shoot fast enough after I gave him the take the shot.

That's the fun challenge of the long-range trying to stay ahead of the wind.
