BPTR shooters NRA presentation

Fogman, since this presentation was first made to the NRA board, the tollefson class has been adapted (again, it was approved in 08 but someone in competitions decided not to reckocknize it). So any bptr match should allow and recognize your heavy rifle in Tollefson class.
Also the Ironman award has become a standard award at the nationals to recognize those shooters that spend all 6 days shooting in the competition.
And the midrange prone match consisting of targets at 3-5 and 600 yards has become an approved match, and as such should be eligible for national records for the aggregate.
Now if we could just get the National Championship back to September , when it was historically shot from the very beginning (we're talking 1870's) things would be looking very well.

Thanks for that info - I will start getting serious about my bull barrel loads and start looking for a BPTR match I could get to. Great news. I have been working up my silhouette rifles... one scoped and one with Vernier sights. Now I have something else to look forward to.

I'll give it a try, Don. I shot my first silhouette match last Saturday and there is a lot to be said for making those iron critters fall on their faces.
