Recoil Reducer

RE: Recoil Reducer
My youngest boy (14y/o weighs 145Lbs) shoots my 9 1/2 pound rolling block slinging 500gr backed with 70gr of powder and enjoys it. The trick is I put a LimbSaver slip on pad on it and he wears my shoulder pad. With a gun at or near max legal weight the LimbSaver the recoil would be down right pedestrian.

Yes Fogman. And if you go there, I wonder what you'll find re: seating depth. I've only had one session to try on the lands (and it was in 35+ mph swirling crosswinds), but honestly, I've a suspicion that it prefers a slight (driving band width) setback. Have also read others say, "Believe it or not, but..." I assumed it would prefer the lands--seems the default starting point and even Lee Shaver says that all else bein equal it would be the best position. Will be goin again tomorrow and trying both.

Yes JR, I'll need the pad for prone at least. The one time I tried it it kinda kicked my butt. That, and it'll buy me the time to find the right position/form down there.
