The BPCR.net forum is up and running
I’m spreading the word. The BPCR.net forum ( http://www.bpcr.net/) is up and running and accepting new members. Many have tried to join in the past but were unable to due to lack of administrative response and support. The situation has now been corrected and the site is accepting new member. Come join the old and new members to discuss all aspects of black powder cartridge rifles. In the past one of the more popular features has been the Classified Ads section. See you at BPCR.net.

RE: The BPCR.net forum is up and running
Don,
I don’t understand the basis of your comment and animosity. The BPCR community needs as many avenues of information exchange as possible to continue to grow and prosper. It sounds like you want this forum to be the only one for those interested in BPCR. If that’s the case why do you post on other BPCR forums?
BTW, I certainly did not say or imply that BPCR.net is the only forum on the net that dealt with bpcr shooting and had a classified section. Those are your words not mine.

RE: The BPCR.net forum is up and running
Wayne, there are forums I've been on that folks have been deleted from simply for mentioning another forum.
I do find it a bit puzzling as to why all the fuss and furor over the bpcr.net thing.
My question is what exactly do you expect to get out of it, that isn't already available on any of the 1/2 dozen or so other forums that have withstood the spam attacks, the hackers , and other things that have went on over the 4 or five years the Rick Shay let bpcr.net go to pot...?
It's been up an running for 3-4 days now, and the biggest thread there is about how great it is to have it back up,, but not a one of you has said why?
There's a ton of groups on Facebook that are seeing 10 times the traffic that forums have had..[/i]

Don,
No, I would not expect a site administrator to be a bit pissed. But it's obvious that you are and, as I noted earlier, I don't understand why. I must be dense so please educate me. I'd appreciate it if you'd explain in more detail WHY mentioning another BPCR forum has irritated you. I assumed that this site would be open to what is going on in the BPCR community.
BTW, what does the number of my post here have to do with it. Is there some quota of posts I should be aware of that grants me some kind of freedom in post contents?
