Gun World and Archery.....
Anyway I thought the plain ol Montana extreme worked pretty good, but the Cowboy blend was really good. Also had a fella tell me that the bore conditioner was good stuff, but I haven't ever tried any of it.

RE: Bore solvents
Is there a pre-shoot barrel treatment that seams to condition the barrel to easier cleaning when done shooting?
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

RE: Bore solvents
Jim , I've been using Montana extreme's bore oil after clean up, and it seems to be working really well.

RE: Bore solvents
Any place that's carrying the Montana Extreme products should have the Accuracy oil as well.

Would that include BACO?

I don't know I haven't looked at whether or not BACO sells the stuff. I believe most of the big box stores carry the Montana Extreme products.
John Olsen, a member here does sell it, might be worth a pm to him.
Don't know if powderburner ever got set up to be a dealer with them or not.

.. I was quite a fan of the Shiloh Creek solvent and noticed its apparent demise. You may want to try Shilohs current offerings in solvent and black powder solvent. I would suggest they are very similar ? Certainly working well for me. I would like to try the Cowboy blend though.

Don, Brownells has a Montana X-treme Bore Conditioner. Is that the same thing?
