I don't have a .327 either, however, I do have a Mauser and a CZ52 in .30 Mauser as well as a .32-20 carbine. The 32 with a 105 grain soft cast round nose flat point bullet over 9 grains of 2400 makes an awful wound in porcupines and coyotes. The .30 Mauser with the same bullet over 5.5 grain of Unique is equally impressive on porcupines and skunks. In my opinion, the bullet does not need to be hollow pointed for success; merely not cast too hard and with a flat point.
