It was -5 this morning for the longest time, it did warm up some, but...
So I'm getting ready to do some test shooting with the roughrider 44 and it's new *7 leed and MVA scope. I looked in the line box , there was a batch of the Brooks old postel rounds loaded, so I said hmmm.
Put one in the bullet puller and pulled the bullet out to the 3rd lube groove, and gently chambered and extracted. It will now seat to the 2nd lube groove and not leave rifling marks at the driving band. Same round fit both the roughrider with it's modified and the #3 with it's purpose built chamber the same...
So now I'm wondering if I lubed up a batch of those bullets and seated out to the 2nd lube groove, what the target might show
Thank I'll get a batch of those loaded to test along with the "hyde" patched rounds when the weather cooperates..
