RE: 44-70-380 test
Bobw,

Thats my goal.
Right now my fireformed baco brass unsized will hold my KAL bullet with 9# baco paper slip fit. The bullet will fall out if i turn it upside down and shake it. I am going to look for slightly thicker paper (Kurt suggested some ideas). I am also going to try (just for the heck of it) over wrapping the bullet with the 9# by 1/4" since the unresized neck holds it that way much better (if i cant get a thicker paper). I really want to eliminate any form of brass prep other than decapping and cleaning.

If Jamison make some brass ill have to go back to the drawing board again since i only am working with 50 pieces at this time. From what I hear the Jameson stuff is a little thinner at the neck. Not sure if i can go much larger wrapped at 380 and still chamber easily. Tapered would be my next path.
