Gary I dont know why that rifle pulls lead so bad. I have used 1/16 alloy to 1/40. DGL , Black magic, And several different mixes of what I make/ It just likes to eat lead when I use the bore riding bullets.
The Lyman postell and the flat nosed bullet where the ogive comes right to the case mouth do fine.
If I lube the bore riding section just about eliminates the lead.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
