Interesting! I've seasoned my muzzleloaders till they are just like my cast iron skillets. Fouling buildup is almost neglible, cleanup is a snap, and this from deep cut rifled barrels. However, I've not the guts to totally trust tallow type lubes/seasoning from protecting a Shiloh bore.
