It would be interesting to try your bullet.
Currently I’m quite happy with the Saeco 740. It seats deep in the case putting the powder charge at 64 grains. Accuracy looks good at 500 yards. I haven’t tried anything farther.
I have no real purpose for this rifle other than the fact that I really like the rifle itself. It’s my only roller and I appreciate the simplicity and simple elegance. The 40-82 cartridge is starting to grow on me a little but for my use I would prefer a 40-65.
