Gavin, it's always a pleasure spending time with you and your mate on the Hill and the Q.
I have been doing what the eye doc told me and that is a rarity for me doing what the Doctors tell me to do. But this was my second warning shooting these heavy shoulder stompers during the high temperatures and shooting several hundred rounds in a short time period. It happened I think was 2018 on the hill in the right eye and last June in both eyes that really put me down. I have to get a final surgery in August to remove the vitreous that put a little blood in it during the detachment and it wrinkled the retina. I don't understand everything he told me but he was not certain the recoil did the damage again but it happen twice when I shot in the high temperatures.
This year I will shoot the little rifles. The .38-50 or the .40-65 but I will bring the 2.6 Big Grin
See you in June if they let those big birds fly to get you up here Big Grin
