Merrill 22 gong match
I made the trip east to Merrill on Saturday for their 22 gong match.
It was a hard holders day with no wind. That match was won and lost with the first ten shots off hand.
Targets were set at 40 yards for off hand and 100, 150, and 190 all shot from rests.
I dropped three standing which took me out of the game.
I had the pleasure of spotting for Brian Dyrcz who shot a beautiful Ballard rifle. Brian dropped his first shot standing and went clean the rest of the way. I believe he was the match winner. Hopefully the scores will be posted here.
It as a fun day shooting. One of the few opportunities we get to shoot a rifle match this time of year.
