I am restoring this one. I is going to Michigan to be lazer welded. The lazer will bring the weld just about the surface. This is a 1948 model. It was a bit misrepresented by the gunstore to say the least. Fortunately I only paid 150 for it. Investing the 100.00 to have it welded up will turn it back into a valuable old shotgun. The 2nd pic is with the rust all removed from the pits so he has clean metal to work with. I used rust and blue remover and white vinegar, along with a fine stainless steel brush.

This is what the employees of Dunkleburgers in Stroudsburg Pa calls "a little rust".............
