Yup! glad we didn't head on into crazy land California with the way the fuel prices are climbing.

We got snow here last night too Don enough to get enough piled up to be able to see how the different alloys will work with the .44-100 loads.
It got cold down in AZ at night into the middle teens to as high as the mid 60's just 70 miles north of Phoenix.
Crazy weather we had down there. But we where around 3640' about 2000 feet higher then Phoenix.
We had some serious snow when we got up to Flagstaff.
I don't have any problems with winter. I get along a lot better when it's cold then when it gets hot. I like the 4 seasons.
At Raton we where camped at over 6000 feet and it got cold there at night but nice in the mid to late mornings.
We will head back down after Christmas.
