Cabin fever setting in. 30 degrees but I thought it was time to put on the gloves and heavy clothes and get out there!

I've never shot anything below 40 gr in the Hornet. I bought a box of 30 gr Barnes varmint bullets to see if they would shoot good. I wasn't disappointed! Used H110, 10.5-11.1 grains as noted on the target. Only one over 1\2" @ 50 yds and I pulled that one on the second target.

I didn't get any sand bags out, just pulled the portable bench over to the 50 yd target lane and used the front rest of the lead sled.
