I'll try that Kurt...but my varied neck tension may let me down . My mate Gary shoots a 45/70 in the U.S. and either a 45/70 or 45/90 back home. Lot easier to organise cases and projectiles when he's in the U.S. Shakes his head every time I'm having trouble getting stuff together for the 44/77...but I just tell him its a labour of love.
As for case prep, I rinse once with a mild detergent and nylon bottle brush in the necks and do the same again with Birchwood Casey case cleaner before drying them and running them an hour or so in the walnut media. I'd like to set up with a rotating drum and the ceramic media but the cost to set up is putting me off when I already have a system thats working.
