Kurt, I always thought pistol cartridges were for pistols, period. Then about a decade or moore ago I bought a 1873 Uberti SRC in 44 WCF and have never had so much fun shooting offhand, BP only. Added a Uberti 1873 rifle last year and it is also an excellent shooter. Usually don’t clean until after 40 rounds, just blow down barrel occassionally depending on temperature. I often wonder what the old guys did when shooting a lot of rounds.
