Stephen here in Illinois I can't use a cartridge rifle for Deer. They allow using the inline ML that get packed with a load that rivals a .458 Win Mag, some have the inlines that are loaded with smokeless.
I haven't hunted deer here for several years in my back yard but I think I will get a couple tags for the bow and the muzzle loader because they been raking my young fruit trees during the rutting season and the freezer is empty
I will use my .54 flint Southern Mountain rifle and the recurve bow.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
