For what its worth, I do have a Postel mold that was cut by Walt at NEI. They say that it is/was as close to the original as was available. The blocks are aluminum and yes they do cast oversize on the driving bands. Just how much I can't tell you as I don't have any unsized laying around at the moment that I know of. I am willing to loan out the mold if that would help. I do remember at one time measuring around on the bullet and can tell you that the nose taper starts at the first band. A loaded round laying here on the desk measures about .448 where the nose meets the first band. There is no parallel section on the nose on this bullet.
