I ordered mine without the screw. It has a 7/16 allen screw hole where it is hardly noticeable to adjust and set the eyepiece. You have to get real close to even see it. I know I have to carry an allen wrench if I want to change the adjustment, but I plan to set the sight up for 200 yds and leave it for awhile. This rifle is not for competition so I don't really care about "easy" adjusting. I have to carry allen wrenches if I want to adjust the red dot on my S&W 500 revolver too. I got this sight because it is the closest thing I could get to an original sight for a rifle that I wanted to look like an original buffalo rifle. And it does look pretty cool.

yer right Fogman.....I'm going looking for a small (and I mean SMALL) screw to fill the hole....but I'd like a regular head.....I may try to make one, but it sure is SMALL. I took it out, and just left it, and you can't see the hole anyway, because it's SMALL!
