Just a wee bit of an update, I loaded some of the .44 Colts with the 200 grain .44/40 bullet (Lyman's 427098) over 5.5 grains of Unique powder for a try. My rifle shooting today was not the best and I only fired 5 shots with the .44 Colt revolver. Those 5 shots, however, made the best shooting I did today. They hit real well. Still a bit low but with the 5.5 grains the powder burned very cleanly and the shots grouped quite nicely. On top of that, it is still a good light load. Next I'll try another five shots with 5.7 grains of Unique just to see how it works. Shoot sharp, Mike
