Hey Cap, Yes, a 200 grain does work well. But for me those hit a bit low and I'm thinking a 235 will have enough more barrel time to be raised a bit by the gun's recoil. For me using .44 Russian ammo with the 250 grain bullet hits better. So, there's my answer, yes, but mainly for the sake of nostalgia I'd rather use .44 Colt ammo and that case just wouldn't look right with a .44 Russian bullet seated in it.
