No Don, It wouldn't matter if Helen Keller had posted those schematics, cuz neither she nor he were claiming to know what was needed or how this barrel shot--he was only helping out with the numbers. Doesn't matter whether he ever shot that rifle, so there's no need to bring in his lack of general marksmanship. One thing's got nuthin to do with the other. God forbid he should offer cold hard date on freebore specs just cuz he can and wants to help? Neither was I usin him as an example--of anything. He simply provided the numbers. God help him.

And nobody's pullin their hair out. Several people have stretched 90 cases or turned 100s back for this particular barrel, including the shooters who contributed their load data to Wayne's book on the rifle, but I'm sure you can say the same thing about them, right? WTH do they know? So just lemme get this straight fore I go--you can't provide schematics for a barrel unless you've won with it, and you can't ask Qs here about what others have done with their brass for a given barrel w/o your hair bein on fire. Good to know.

ps. And just found another thread wherein DanT recommended usin 100 brass trimmed back for this particular configuration. Not to worry. It's just my hair.
