My wife's first day

There are lots of ladies in these days that have become intensely interested in learning to shoot probably at least partly a result of the increased crime levels. For my wife it happened about a week before Obama got inaugurated the first time, and she was dead serious about her desire to have her own guns, learn to shoot good, and go to matches. Enthusiastic encouragement from me really through gas on the fire. A few ladies have asked me about firearm ownership at times, and I tell them it's a great sport and they do double duty; sport and protection, and it's their choice. From the protection standpoint, if you ever accidentally get in a spot where seconds count the police will probably only be minutes away.

Anyway, my wife loves shooting her pistols; air pistol, .22 rimfire and .45 ACP. She really likes loading her own ammo, cleaning her guns, going to the range, etc. I would like to see her shooting rifles, but I'm certainly not going to tamper w/ something that's already working.
