Robert if you're shooting greasegroove the only thing you're really looking for with patching between shots is keeping the fouling hydrated, and somewhat uniform. The lube from the bullet is supposed to keep the lead from tinning to the barrel, so as long as the bullet doesn't hit any hard foul or rough spots all should be well.So it's possible patching 2 wets is doing more harm than good.
Also looking at your patches with that much grey on them you got some hunks of lead hung up in there somewhere, and lead in the barrel begets more leadiing. I'ld get down and dirty with some lead mining and get nothing but pure white patches , then go work on your wiping routine.
