The drought happened mostly. Glad to see some wind this afternoon, or I would of been hauling water or rigging the pumpjack..
Had things comeup that I couldn't make the midrange, and I went to test the creedmoor loads and did well at 8 and 900 but they fell completely apart at 1000.Got the 1000 yd ironed out, but not completely confirmed. Friday when I discoverd the loads falling apart at 1000 was the first time I had fired my rifle since the last shot of the Quigley.
Combine all that with not having a spotter, and the rate at which we're hemorraging cash keeping the cows in supplement....

The major plan is to make the thing next year with it's later dates in Sept.
