Hunting season in Texas has begun

Well done David! I did the same thing two weeks ago as I had to go down to Kenedy county in Deep South Texas to do some ranch work at a hunting camp for a rancher. He told me to dispatch any and all hogs seen. So I was out for a morning stroll one morning a busted this boar with an old Husqvarna 9.3 x 57. 270 grain Speer hotcor load.



If I'd had a dollar for every one of these things I'd shot over the past 30 years we could have a heck of a party!!! 2014 I trapped 17 here on the home place. But now daughter and SIL live on the back of the place with a whole herd of hounds, so they keep the pigs chased off. But the neighbors place has a bunch, and they can go ove there and fill the larder with a shoat or two!!!!
