I shot all of the powder out there in my .50 except the old Elephant. All shot well in my .50 except the Diamond powder.
Swiss 1.5 98 gr shot well, 110gr of the old 2f goex The 2 f Goex express was my favorite with a 110 gr load. When the EXP was discontinued I switched to 100 gr of 2F KIK also 100 gr of 1.5 KIK. 2F Olde Eynsford shoots very good in the .50.
Now my rifle is the Shiloh with a 22 twist and I shoot a very long just under a 1.5 inch Brooks Creedmoor nosed bullet that weighs 718 gr and one just like it that is a hollow point the same length but it weighs 685 gr and both have shot dollar size groups and better some times @ 200 yards.
My .50 will just about digest any powder type or load and shoot it well but I don't shoot the short lite bullets in it.
